Sallie Grant-DiVenuti serves as Executive Director of the Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau (since 2001) and has worked with the bureau since 1994. She worked on the design and launch team for the Hampton Roads Convention Center in addition to serving on numerous regional committees and task forces. Sallie serves on the Destination Marketing Association International's Research Committee. Sallie is active in travel industry associations by participation on the board level of the Virginia Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus (2007 President), Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association, and the Hampton Roads Sports Commission (Vice Chair). Her vast knowledge and experience—the result of many years in the hospitality, hotel and convention and visitor industries—provides a global and strategic perspective to marketing Hampton as a year-round destination.
